# Aging, ledger, tax and multi-entity reports

Beyond the financial statements, Tabby has reports for chasing what you're owed, closing the year and handing your books to an accountant. This article explains each one.

## Detailed reports

### General Ledger

Every transaction by account, with running balances. The key numbers are Total debits, Total credits and Entries.

Each account lists its opening balance, its latest six entries and its ending balance. Click the "earlier entries" line or **See all** to open every entry for that account. Click an entry to open the transaction.

### Trial Balance

Every account's debit or credit balance, as of a date. The key numbers are Total debits, Total credits and Out of balance.

When the two totals match, the report says your books balance. Income and expense accounts show activity since the start of the year.

### Receivables Aging

Unpaid invoices grouped by how late they are. The key numbers are Total owed to you, Overdue and Over 90 days.

The columns are Current, 1-30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days and Over 90. When a customer is badly overdue, a note names them, and **Send a reminder** asks Tabby Talk to write one.

Click a customer to see their open invoices, with the due date and status of each.

To send reminders or record payments yourself, see **Sales**.

### Payables Aging

Unpaid bills grouped by how long they've been due. The key numbers are Total you owe, Overdue and Over 90 days.

![Each vendor's unpaid bills by age.](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/8/a/f/c/8afcc30bafd4b000/05-payables-aging_vukf1b.png)

**Plan payments** asks Tabby Talk to help you decide which overdue bills to pay first. To pay them, see **Pay bills**.

## Year-end and 1099 reports

Both reports in this group are for US businesses.

### Tax Ready Report

Your income and deductible expenses arranged on the lines of IRS Schedule C, ready to hand to your accountant. The key numbers are Net profit, Deductions, Estimated tax and Effective rate.

![Each line carries its Schedule C line number.](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/8/a/f/c/8afcc30bafd4b000/06-tax-ready-report_1t3xy4x.png)

If transactions still need a category, a note says how many. Click **Review now** to sort them out so the report is complete.

|| **Note:** The tax figures are estimates for planning only. Your accountant confirms the final numbers.

### 1099 Vendors

Contractors you paid $600 or more this year. The key numbers are Forms to file, Paid to contractors and Missing W-9s.

![One contractor is missing a W-9.](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/8/a/f/c/8afcc30bafd4b000/07-1099-vendors_crb9d7.png)

Each vendor shows their tax classification, whether a W-9 is on file, the form and the amount paid. The report counts payments made by bank transfer, check or cash. Card payments are reported by the card company.

When a W-9 is missing, the note names the vendor. **Request W-9** asks Tabby Talk to email them a request. To mark a vendor as 1099 eligible in the first place, see **Track 1099 vendors and W-9s**.

## Multi-entity reports

If you run more than one organization in Tabby, these reports show them together.

### Consolidated Profit & Loss

Profit and loss across all your organizations. Each organization has its own column, followed by **Eliminations** and **Consolidated**.

![Three organizations, with sales between them removed.](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/8/a/f/c/8afcc30bafd4b000/08-consolidated-profit-and-los_1x0tijo.png)

The **Intercompany removed** figure is the value of sales between your own organizations. Tabby takes those out so the group's revenue isn't overstated.

### Consolidated Balance Sheet

Assets, liabilities and equity for the group, laid out the same way: a column for each organization, then Eliminations and Consolidated.

### Consolidated Receivables and Payables

Money owed to all your organizations, and bills owed by them, by age.

![What each organization is owed, by how late it is.](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/8/a/f/c/8afcc30bafd4b000/09-consolidated-receivables_1o9byjy.png)

Click an organization or an amount to see the open invoices or bills behind it.

## Banking

### Reconciliation Report

Statement snapshots and a live as-of-date summary for any bank or card account. Opening it from Reports shows the same report you get from Bank reconciliation. See **Reconciliation Report** in the Accounting guide.
