# Quick Start Guide: From Sign-Up to Your First Report

This is the fastest path to a working set of books in Tabby.

**Step 1 — Create your account**
Sign up and verify your email.

**Step 2 — Connect your bank account**
Go to **Bank Connections** in the sidebar and link your business checking or credit card account through Plaid.

**Step 3 — Let Tabby categorize your transactions**
Within a few minutes, Tabby's AI will pull in your recent transactions and automatically assign categories.

**Step 4 — Review flagged items**
Open the **Review** tab to confirm or correct any transaction Tabby wasn't fully confident about.

**Step 5 — Run your first report**
Head to **Reports** and generate a Profit & Loss report to see your numbers instantly.
