# Reports and tax readiness

### What reports does Tabby include?
Tabby includes the reports a small business and its CPA need:

* Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows
* Expense Categories, Revenue by Client and Profit & Loss by Class
* Tax Ready Report, Year-End Summary and 1099 Vendors
* General Ledger, Trial Balance, Receivables Aging and Payables Aging
* Reconciliation Report
* Consolidated reports on Growth

### What is the Tax Ready Report?
It's a year-end summary of your income and deductible expenses grouped by IRS tax line, ready to hand to your CPA or use with tax software. It also has a section for home office and other allocated deductions.

### Can I export reports?
Yes. Export any report to PDF or CSV, or email it as a PDF from the report's Export menu.

### Can I send reports to my accountant automatically?
Yes. Open the report, click **Save**, choose a schedule and enter their email address under **Send to**.

### Can I compare periods?
Yes. Compare a report to another period, and split a Profit & Loss by month or quarter.

### Can I see the transactions behind a number?
Yes. Click any line in a report to see every transaction in it, then open and fix a transaction right there.

### Can I build a custom report?
Yes. Click **New custom report** on the Reports home, or ask Tabby Talk for the report you need in plain English.

### Why doesn't my Profit & Loss match my bank balance?
They measure different things. A Profit & Loss shows income minus expenses for a period. Your bank balance also reflects transfers, loan payments, owner's draws and money from earlier periods. The Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement explain the difference.

### Does Tabby calculate quarterly estimated taxes?
**\[Confirm]** Tabby gives you the year-to-date profit your quarterly estimates are based on. A dedicated tax module is on the roadmap. Ask your CPA for your estimated payment amounts.

### Will my CPA accept Tabby's reports?
Tabby's reports follow standard formats (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, Trial Balance) and can be exported to PDF or CSV. Most CPAs can work from them directly, or you can give your CPA accountant access to your books.
