# Tabby Talk, the AI assistant

### What is Tabby Talk?
Tabby Talk is the AI assistant inside Tabby. Ask it questions about your books in plain English, such as "How much did I spend on software this year?", or ask it to do a task, such as categorizing uncategorized transactions or drafting an invoice.

### What can Tabby Talk do?
Tabby Talk can answer questions using your transactions, accounts, contacts, invoices, bills and reports. It can prepare changes such as categories, rules, invoices and journal entries, and explain accounting terms.

### Does Tabby Talk change my books without asking?
No. When a task changes your books, Tabby Talk shows you what it will do and waits for you to confirm.

### Can Tabby Talk move money or file taxes?
No. Tabby Talk can't move money, pay bills, file taxes or send anything to a government agency.

### Can Tabby Talk be wrong?
Yes. Like any AI, its answers and figures can be incomplete or incorrect. Check anything you'll use for taxes, loans or investors against your reports.

### What are Tabby Talk credits?
Each Tabby Talk request uses credits. Free includes 10 credits a month, Standard 250, Pro 450 and Growth 750. Credits reset monthly, and the credits panel shows the reset date.

### What happens when I run out of credits?
Tabby tells you instead of running the request. Your bookkeeping keeps working; only Tabby Talk requests wait until your credits reset or you upgrade.
