Track and cancel subscriptions
Tabby finds recurring charges across your connected accounts and lists them on the Subscriptions page under Expenses, so you can see what you pay every month and stop what you don't use. You don't enter anything by hand.
Tour of the page

- How it works. Explains how Tabby finds subscriptions.
- Totals. Monthly spend, Annual projection at today's prices, Active subscriptions, and Bills & overhead.
- Tabs. Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, and Bills & overhead.
- Next bill. When the next charge is expected. Charges due soon are highlighted.
- Cancel button. Opens the vendor's site, or shows you how to cancel.
- Row menu. Show details, move the charge or remove it from the list.
The bar under the totals, Where your monthly spend goes, splits your monthly cost by type, such as Software, Advertising and Comms.
How Tabby finds subscriptions

- Tabby reads every connected account, so a charge on a card or a checking account both count.
- Known vendors, such as Zoom, Canva or AWS, are matched to a vendor list.
- Anything else that shows up in three or more months at a similar amount is offered to you to confirm.
- Phone, internet and utilities are listed as bills, not subscriptions.
Review charges that look recurring
When Tabby sees a repeating charge it isn't sure about, the Monthly tab shows a "to review" count and a banner. Click Review to jump to the list.

- Click Confirm as subscription to add it to your subscriptions and totals.
- Click Not a subscription and Tabby won't suggest it again.
Either way, a message at the bottom of the screen gives you a few seconds to Undo.
Open a subscription's details
Click a row to open its details.

The panel shows the account, the billing cycle, the typical and latest amount, the next bill date and how Tabby found the subscription. Charged per month charts recent charges, and Charges from your ledger lists each one. Click a charge to open that transaction.
Cancel a subscription
Tabby doesn't cancel subscriptions for you. It gets you to the right place.
- Cancel with an arrow opens the vendor's own cancellation page in a new tab.
- How to cancel looks up the steps and shows them, with a link to the vendor's help.
- Contact agency marks a managed service, which you cancel by contacting the provider directly.

Cancelling happens on the vendor's side. To take the charge off this list straight away, use Remove from list.
Move a charge between subscriptions and bills
Some recurring charges are overheads, not subscriptions. Open the row menu and choose Move to Bills & overhead.

The Bills & overhead tab lists phone, internet and utilities. They repeat like subscriptions but are kept out of your subscription totals. Click Move to subscriptions on a row if you'd prefer to track it there.

Remove and restore items
Remove from list hides a charge. To bring one back, click Show hidden items at the bottom of the page and click Restore.
Common questions
A subscription is missing from the list
Check the "to review" list on the Monthly tab, then the Bills & overhead tab, then Show hidden items. If the charge is on an account that isn't connected, connect it in Bank connections. Tabby needs to see a charge in three or more months before it suggests one it doesn't already recognize.
How do I stop paying for a subscription?
Use the cancel button on its row to reach the vendor's cancellation page or steps. The cancellation itself happens with the vendor.
