Integrations and switching from other software
What does Tabby integrate with?
Tabby connects to thousands of banks and card issuers through Plaid, plus Stripe and Ramp directly. PayPal, Square and Wise usually connect through Plaid. Mercury, Shopify and a direct PayPal connection are coming soon.
Does Tabby integrate with QuickBooks?
There's no live sync with QuickBooks. To switch, export your chart of accounts, customers, vendors and products from QuickBooks and import them into Tabby, then bring in transaction history from your bank or statements.
How do I switch from QuickBooks to Tabby?
- Export your chart of accounts, customers, vendors and products from QuickBooks.
- Import them into Tabby.
- Connect your banks or upload statements from your start date.
- Enter opening balances as of your start date, using your QuickBooks Balance Sheet.
- Review the first month of transactions so Tabby learns your categories.
Starting at the beginning of a year or quarter keeps things simplest.
Can I move from Wave, Xero, Zoho Books or FreshBooks?
Yes, using the same steps: export your lists, import them into Tabby, bring in bank history and enter opening balances. [Confirm] whether a one-click migration tool is live before publishing.
Can I import historical transactions?
Yes. Connect your bank for up to 24 months of history, or upload PDF, CSV or Excel statements for any period you need.
Does Tabby have an API?
Not yet. A public API is on the roadmap.
Does Tabby work with Zapier?
Not yet.
Does Tabby integrate with Gusto or ADP?
Payroll transactions from Gusto, ADP or any provider appear in your bank feed and are categorized. [Confirm] whether a direct payroll integration is live.
Does Tabby integrate with ThriveCart, WooCommerce or Amazon Seller Central?
Not directly. Payouts from these platforms land in your bank or Stripe account and get categorized from there.
