Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan costs $0 forever and covers businesses with up to $15,000 a year in expenses. It includes 1 bank connection, 1 user, 5 invoices a month, 10 Tabby Talk credits a month and the subscriptions manager. No card is needed.

Is there a free trial?

You don't need one: start on the Free plan and upgrade when you're ready. Every paid plan also has a 30-day money-back guarantee. [Confirm] Some pages still mention a 14-day free trial.

What's included in Standard?

Standard ($30/mo, or $24/mo billed yearly) covers up to $200,000 a year in expenses, 3 bank connections, 1 user plus 1 accountant, unlimited invoices, Stripe and Ramp connections, and 250 Tabby Talk credits a month.

What's included in Pro?

Pro ($50/mo, or $40/mo billed yearly) covers up to $400,000 a year in expenses, 6 bank connections, 3 users plus 1 accountant, and 450 credits a month. It adds split transactions, classes (up to 10), cash or accrual reports, the Balance Sheet, W-9 collection, and human chat and email support.

What's included in Growth?

Growth ($90/mo, or $72/mo billed yearly) removes the limits: unlimited expenses, bank connections, users and classes, plus 2 accountant seats and 750 credits a month. It adds the general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, multi-currency, multi-entity consolidated reports, realtime sync, live onboarding and priority support.

Which plan is right for me?

  • Free: you're just starting out or spend under $15K a year.
  • Standard: you're a solopreneur with a few accounts and want unlimited invoicing.
  • Pro: you have a small team, need classes or split transactions, or want accrual reports.
  • Growth: you need reconciliation, journal entries, several entities or no limits.

What does the expense limit mean?

It's the total business expenses Tabby processes for one business in a year, across all connected and uploaded accounts. Revenue doesn't count toward it.

What happens if I go over my plan's limit?

There are no overage fees. Tabby lets you know as you get close. Once you pass the limit, new transactions stop being categorized until you upgrade; your existing books and reports stay available.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes. Billing yearly saves 20%: Standard is $288 a year, Pro $480 and Growth $864.

Is there a discount for new users?

Yes. New subscribers get 50% off the first 3 months of a monthly plan, applied automatically at checkout. [Confirm] whether it also applies to yearly billing.

Can I change plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrades take effect right away and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel?

Go to Settings > Billing and cancel. Export anything you need before your paid period ends.

What is the refund policy?

Tabby offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from your first charge. Email support@usetabby.com with the subject "Refund Request" and you'll get a full refund within 5 to 7 business days. Renewals, mid-cycle upgrades and third-party fees aren't covered.

Do I pay extra for bank connections or Plaid?

No. Bank connection costs are included in your plan. You don't pay Plaid anything.

Does each business need its own plan?

Yes. Each business has its own books and bank connections, so each needs its own plan. You can manage them all from one login.

What payment methods do you accept?

Tabby accepts major credit and debit cards through Stripe. [Confirm] other methods.

How much does Tabby for Accountants cost?

Tabby for Accountants is free for the firm. You pay $15 per client per month for the clients you manage in it.
