Countries, currencies and international use
Which countries does Tabby support?
Tabby is built for US businesses. Its categories and tax lines follow IRS rules and books are kept in US dollars. Canada is the next market. Other countries are on the long-term roadmap without dates.
Does Tabby work in Canada?
Partly. Many Canadian banks, including TD Canada Trust, connect through Plaid today. Full Canadian support, including Canadian tax rules and sales tax (GST, HST, PST and QST), is in development and is the next market Tabby will launch.
Does Tabby work in the UK?
Not fully. You can connect some UK banks through Plaid or upload statements, but books are in USD and Tabby isn't HMRC or Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliant yet. UK support is on the long-term roadmap.
Does Tabby work in Europe?
Not fully. Some European banks connect through Plaid, and you can upload statements, but Tabby doesn't support EU VAT reporting or local accounting standards yet.
Does Tabby work in Australia?
Not yet. Plaid doesn't connect Australian banks for Tabby, and Tabby doesn't support GST or BAS lodgement. Australia doesn't have a release date.
Does Tabby work in India, Mexico, the UAE or South Africa?
Not yet. Tabby doesn't connect to banks in these countries or support their tax rules. You can upload English-language statements, but reports follow US categories.
Can I use Tabby if I'm outside the US but have a US LLC?
Yes. If your business is a US entity with US bank accounts, such as an LLC formed through Stripe Atlas, Tabby works for you.
Does Tabby support multi-currency?
Multi-currency is part of the Growth plan, and invoices can be issued in USD, CAD, EUR, GBP or AUD. [Confirm] how foreign-currency bank accounts and exchange rates are handled before publishing.
Is Tabby available in other languages?
Tabby is in English today.
